The Tioga entrance to Yosemite National Park is nearby along with a host of other natural wonders, including Devils Postpile National Monument, Ansel Adams Wilderness, and John Muir Wilderness and Death Valley. For the naturalist in you, there are lovely pine forests, wildflowers, deer, bighorn sheep and over 300 species of birds.
